The mission of the Colorado Institute of Flamenco (CIF) is to preserve, to promote, and to present the artistry of flamenco by creating exciting performances presented to the widest audience possible and educational programing of the highest quality made available to students no matter their age, ability, or socio-economic status. Colorado Institute of Flamenco is a 501c3 non-profit organization that operates in Denver, Colorado employing both artists and administrators to develop and implement new creative works and innovative programs, for both public and conservatory our performing arts programs, building diversity through our uncompromising commitment to artistic excellence based in the flamenco traditions. CIF design, implements, and manages a syllabus for its performing arts department, to prepare students who express interest for advancement towards a professional career. Our desire is to enlighten and engage both current and future students, audiences, and aficionados the history and culture of Spain, the Spanish gypsies, and the beauty of the flamenco art form through on-going programs, interactive workshops, and opportunity to perform creative works while providing positive experience and supportive presence that enrich the lives of the community and families.
