Andréana Cortés will pay a heartfelt tribute to her uncle and mentor, René Heredia, who recently passed away at the age of 87, performing at the Colorado Music Hall of Fame Community Impact Awards, honoring his lifelong dedication to flamenco music and dance and his lasting influence on her artistic journey and the lives of many others.
Experience the heartbeat of flamenco in the center of Denver’s music scene, vibe, and energy in this exclusive evening to honor the legacy of my uncle and mentor, René Heredia. Joining me in this tribute performance is Colorado Institute of Flamenco’s own Debra Belo and Matt Schreiber, with Flamenco Fantasy Dance Theatre Alumni Diane Lapierre, Monica Perez, and Rick Pruitt.

Monday nights at HGA was just too full of band activity and high schoolers. So., Cante is running on Thursday evenings!
Learn the different tones and rhythms of the various palos (songs form), such as Tangos, Soleá, Alegrías, Bulerías, and more. Perform in the authentic flamenco tradition for dance classes and tablao settings.

Add-on Technique & Conditioning to your dance at a nominal rate of just a little as $10 for a phenomenal 90-minutes workout.
Our new Technique & Conditioning class is designed to help you get stronger and be more confident. Refine arms, turns, and develop greater control and precision footwork.
No Choreography. Pre-requisite: Level 1B
